Let's talk about "down there" (X-Post)
Hello! I am very happy to be in this community. One of my biggest passions is women's rights and feminism.

I have a podcast where I talk about stuff like victim blaming, slut shaming, VAW, etc.

Tonight, to be blunt, I am talking vaginas (and more)! That's right I'm discussing everything that has to do with a biological woman "down there".

It's interactive, so I hope people will join the chat (as a side note the number of people in the chat room does not reflect the number of people listening). To join just click the chat tab, try to type and then it will prompt you to create a user name (really simply)

Tonight at 10:30pm EST on ipmNation.com/noboundaries

And please friend me if you like!

I know it's been a while since anyone has posted...
I am new to this community and seriously freaking out right now and feeling absolutely terrible for my irresponsible actions this past week.

I had sex with a guy that I know a few times about a week ago-- I am on birth control nuva ring---totally consistent. But we did not use a condom and he did cum inside of me.

Than just a few days ago I got back with my ex boyfriend (told him about having sex with another person) I have had sex with my boyfriend twice since-- no condom and he came inside of me.

I decided to take the morning after pill to be on the safe side-- if I am pregnant I don't want to have to worry about who the father is?? Hopefully.

I do not want to be pregnant. I am freaking out because I honestly want to be with my boyfriend and get married--- and having sex with another person was a big  mistake. I feel terrible for many many reasons and I am still trying to work things out with my boyfriend on a whole other level.
I guess I am freaking out over pregnancy because it would absolutely ruin my life right now. Pregnancies have a tendency to happen when you least expect them.

I am currently supposed to be on my period, but it is very light spotting and making me more paranoid. I have taken two pregnancy tests and both have come out negative but it might be too soon to tell. My period being light is not an unusual thing for me, it is due to the birth control. This makes me worry even more because I cannot rely on my body to tell me what's going on.

I have been really stressed and paranoid lately. I am so worried that I could be pregnant with someones child that I do not want. I have never been pregnant or thought I was pregnant before. I am causing myself so much stress and my body is starting to turn on me. I have been worried to the point where I want to vomit I am sick to my stomach.

Basically, does anyone have any experience with this kind of situation. I have been reading everything that I possibly can online about timing, and when I should take a pregnancy test, how long sperm lives in the body, all that...but I just need someone to tell me what to do. I need to calm down. The pressure is killing me. I want to make an appointment to go to the doctor. I am pretty sure that I should be okay as far as std's go, but I want to be positive. How long before I would notice any kind of infection? How long before I can be accurately tested for anything? I know that it varies with the infection, but I am mostly thinking about something common like chlamydia or gonorrhea.

Thank you for any help that you can give me.

broken condom.... HELP!
I need some help people....?
Back story a little bit. I'm in a monogamous relationship with a man, and we have been having sex for quite some time. We are currently engaged and I am very happy with him. We have had to use some different types of condoms recently, since I had ran out of my backstock of condoms from my high school clinic (I just graduated 2 years ago, so they're not really old). We have recently switched to Trojan's, since they seem to have the most out there and I just wanted some regular ones.

Anyways, last night, we were having sex... and during the course of the encounter, the condom broke and he finished inside of me. He didn't realize the condom had broken until he pulled out (which was maybe 30 seconds or so after he finished since we do like to cuddle just a bit afterwards). (The ones that I have at my house [which are the Trojan Spermicidal Lubricant] have broken ONCE before... but he did not finish that time...) Fortunately, it was our second round, and I don't think that he had AS MANY little swimmers than the first round... but we both were freaking out a bit.
We went to the closest Walgreen's that had an open pharmacy (this is at like 11pm last night), and we got a "plan B" (aka "morning after pill") pack to take, and I took both of the pills right when we got to his house, at the correct time (the first one ASAP, and the second 12 hours afterwards)... and I'm just a little freaking out.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Can anyone help me calm my nerves a little bit and tell me if there's a really good chance I won't get pregnant? I JUST got done with my period, and so I'm not ovulating or anything like that, and I'm even thinking about going and getting a douche or something like that to make sure nothing happens. I'm just a little freaked out right now... can someone help me please?!?!?!?!

So... I have a question for people. I am VERY nervous and I have no idea how to deal with this situation.

So, this guy I've been dating is a virgin. It's not a big problem, but what's the problem is that all he's done is kissing with a girl... and not even very much of that with his ex-girlfriends. So, I'm having to teach him how to be with a girl and do stuff, and it IS kind of awkward because I don't really know how to teach him stuff, since most of the guys I've been with have already been with another girl or at least have had SOME knowledge of what to do, even when I was with my ex. He had at least SOME knowledge of what to do, and we were both virgins when we started doing stuff so we were BOTH learning.

(On a side note, I'm 20, and he's 23 (almost 24). I'm the first girlfriend he's had for a very long time. His longest relationship is about 4 months and mine is almost 2 years. Totally different.)

Can someone help me on how to either demonstrate or tell him or show him how to do stuff? We have gotten pretty hot and heavy with each other in the past week or so, and I just don't want him to regret losing his virginity to me if it happens. I also don't want him to think that I have a problem with him being a virgin... because I don't at all. I just have a slight problem that he doesn't really know very much about how to do the stuff that comes beforehand.

I need help on if I should like tell him about stuff, or if I should buy him a book or just suggest books or something for him? I mean, I do have Guide to Getting It On at my house that I could have him read. I'm just totally unsure on how I should approach this and what's the best way to make it less awkward if I need to teach him. I don't want to have to be telling him everything while he's doing stuff, since it would kinda ruin the mood (in my opinion).

Well, I just need some suggestions....

I apologise if this post is in the wrong place.

I'd like for women (and men) to join me at my blog and discuss the thoughts and feelings I have on viagra for women. It'll be nice to get opinions/experiences from other people.

Just visit my journal and leave your thoughts, and maybe become friends too so you can read my posts regularly?

Thanks for your time.

Here it goes...

I'm 17 and I just had sex for the first time tonight with my ex boyfriend who I've remained close friends with. Anyways, I had given him head earlier in the night and he cummed. We didn't plan on having sex and now, a few hours after "popping my cherry" so to speak, my stomach feels EXTREMELY disconcerted, I mean hey- it could have just been something I ate being my diet today cosisted of soda, beef jerkey and cereal. Not only is my stomach feeling out of place but I bled A LOT. His bed was pretty soaked and I'm still bleeding four hours later. Is this normal? Not to give too much info or anything but a lot of the blood is like thick clot like blood I suppose you could say, is this normal as well? And should I have any concerns whatsoever of pregnancy? He swears he didn't cum, and I know he wasn't turned on during the 10 minute duration being that I was freaking out so much because of all the pain I was in. Anyways I'm just a bit paranoid and those are my conerns I guess and I want to make sure this is all normal I suppose so any input, advice, personal experience will help.

One more thing- it is always a little awkward everytime after we hang out being that he is my ex and the only time we do hang out is the occaisonal "booty call." Now things are ten times weirder after the whole blood everywhere on his bed thing, and helping him scrub his sheets and matress for an hour afterward, then him telling me to just go home. Is there anything I can do to relieve the awkwardness or tension between us?

Question about a Sex position
Ok, so here's the question.

My sister is an artist and she recently sold a series of paintings which depicted several erotic scenes. In one of them two men were having anal sex where one man stradled the other who was lying down, so that the two men were face to face, much the way you would see in the whole woman-on-top-riding-the-guy position for a hetero couple.

Something about the painting just didn't look right to me, but I really wouldn't know (i'm a lesbian).
Anyway, is that position even possible/comfortable for two guys?

Study on teenage sexuality
I'm cross-posting this madly, because I think it's that bloody significant. This article reads as a gross misrepresentation of the actual study. The second-to-last paragraph should appear much earlier. Everyone who's got any sexual experience to speak of knows that it can be both positive and negative, but (assuming you're doing it right) the majority, and the general net effect, is positive. And this study confirms that sex really is emotionally beneficial, that teens get more positive effects out of sexual activity (of whatever flavor) than negative effects.

But of course CNN has to hide the fact that sex might just be healthy for teenagers at the end because of the stigma that's attached to sex in general, and adolescent sexuality in particular. The vast majority of the negative effects can be done away with by society getting over it and accepting sex, both in theory and in practice.

Teenagers have sex, and there's not a whole hell of a lot that can be done about it. The best thing that can be done is to help them do it well and correctly, such that it's as fulfilling an experience as possible, without all of the excess grief and emotional overhead associated with it.

Okay... I have a question about women, mostly, and sex. I'm just wondering if it's weird that I'm not so sexually active with my boyfriend. He's kind of into sex more than me and I guess he thinks that he's in his "prime" right now, so he's hornier than I am (he's almost 22, and I'm 19). I guess I'm just wondering if it's "normal" that my boyfriend is so much more hornier than I am, and I guess I'm turned off by his advancements and he says that he's trying to hold back, but I don't think he's trying hard enough, since he continues to try to turn me on when I'm totally not in the mood, and I just want to be able to make advancements towards him, not always the other way around. It's really annoying... and any advice would help.

I'm kinda nervous about posting this. I've been going out with my boyfriend for over a year. We have never had sex and don't plan to yet. We do, however, mess around with each other a lot. Mostly it's him fingering me, making out, stuff like that. I have given him blow jobs before and I've given him hand jobs. He seems to enjoy them but I can never make him cum. When I talk dirty to him on the phone I can get him to cum, but never, ever in person.

I know I'm the first girl he's ever messed around with. (Not to mention the first girl he's ever kissed.) I feel like I'm doing something wrong or I'm not pleasing him. We're very comfortable around each other and we openly talk about this stuff but even with suggestions from him, I can't seem to make him cum.

I would love some help on the subject. Any suggestions are welcome. Is there anything I could do to make him feel better? Am I doing something wrong? Please help. Thank you!

My SO and I are planning a threesome with another chick, and honestly I am a bit nervous about it. Its not that I don't want to do it, it's just that its a new experience. Any ideas on what to do would be helpful, as this would be my first threesome.

Thanks in advance.

To make this short and sweet..

I have been with my girlfriend for a little while now, and the sex is FABULOUS and the most amazing out of anyone I've ever been with. However, I have a very hard time reaching orgasm and if I do it takes FOREVER. You see, I can make myself orgasm in less than 10 minutes, but it doesn't feel "amazing.." however, with her, it feels amazing and like I'm on the verge of orgasm for the entire time but it just doesn't come.. literally. What can be prohibiting this final step???? I just don't understand it, since the sex is great and I'm comfortable with her and all of that good stuff..

Question for women, specifically lesbians
Hi. I'm a 19 year old girl with a girlfriend of the same age. We're sexually active with one another, and it's been good so far.

This might seem odd, but I can never seem to really get her all that horny. She's in the mood pretty often and likes having sex, but I can never really do anything to really turn her on during foreplay like she can do to me.

She doesn't have any suggestions for me, and I've tried various areas and things, but nothing really works. Licking and sucking her neck works, but I'd like to be more than a one-trick lady.

Any suggestions for what I can try on her? Specific areas of her body I should focus on other than her breasts, neck, lips? Techniques I should look into? I'd prefer not to use a toy of any kind do this, either.

All help is very appreciated.
